Date Do's and Don'ts
If you are entering the dating game consider
these dating do's and don'ts.
Date Don'ts
Do not take your date to see a movie (especially
a drive in) on the first date. You need the first
date to do all of the 'getting-to-know-each-other'
stuff. Movies tend to stifle conversation. Additionally
its rare that couples appreciate the same genre
and type of movie, so there is a good chance one
of you will be bored.
Do not take your date to a basketball, football,
hockey, or any other kind of game unless he/she
agreed to go because they share a passionate interest
in sports.
Do not hold hands or even kiss on the first
date. Leave some mystery for the next dates. Plus,
by not doing these things it shows that you are
more interested in the person than their body.
Do no's be shy take a few romance tips and act
on them.
Do not over do the romantic decoration. Keep
it simple.
Date Do's
Get creative with your kissing! Indulge in a
pair of good, comfortable slippers. Put them in
the drier for a few minutes to make them nice
and toasty on cold days.
Get chocolate! What's a romantic event without
chocolate. It's a cheap and "sinful" aphrodisiac.
Give your date a small memento to trigger memories.
Poetry works. Especially if it's from the heart.
It's even better if you wrote it.
Have a sense of humor.
Things happen. Have a back-up plan w/options.
