A soulmate doesn't have to be a romantic partner at all. It can be another soul that understands you in a way that just fits — someone you share growth and understanding with, without needing to be "in a relationship" to make it count. Look at your own family and you'll likely find at least one person you've always felt different with, in a good way — a parent, a sibling, a cousin. Someone whose company you enjoy, whose words you value without question. Those experiences often start when we're young, then follow us through school, new neighborhoods, and eventually into the dating years.
There is no karma to work at.
The one thing to watch for: rushing into a relationship for the wrong reasons — looks, money, status — rarely leads anywhere close to a soulmate connection. A real one doesn't need to be worked at. You simply enjoy each other's company, and know that whenever you need them, they're there.
